This I Know: A Spacious Conversation about Inclusive Christianity

Rev. Jim Dant & Brian Cromer chat about “This I Know: A Simple Biblical Defense for LGBTQ Christians”

I first learned of Rev. Jim Dant in Gay Chorus, Deep South, a documentary about the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. His large Baptist Church welcomed the chorus into their sanctuary to perform in concert — a subversive, healing invitation that surprised many. I wish I could have been at the live concert. Through my television years later, I can feel the love and warmth of that gathering.

As Jim was shepherding his congregation on a path toward full inclusion, congregants asked if he could help them approach conversations with their loved ones about the biblical passages that are used for exclusion.

Jim’s gentle and bold pastor’s heart draws me in to listen and learn.
