I See You, and I’m Not Going Anywhere

Anchoring Words of Wisdom from my Center

Twisted magnolia branches in the fall are covered with moss, and still holding onto a handful of green leaves. Yellow and orange leaves from another tree fill in the space of the image between the magnolia branches.

I See You, and I’m Not Going Anywhere

I release the breath I’ve been holding, and my body softens into the moment.
I’m terrified, and I’m not totally sure why.
”I see you, and I’m not going anywhere.”
There’s a calming and a quickening. I’m reminded that the way is made by walking.

I’m terrified, and I’m not totally sure why.
You are safe. You are loved. You are wise.

I start feeling like myself again.
